CHASE OUTDOORS 2025 3D ARCHERY SHOOT AT RIB MOUNTAIN BOWMEN SUNDAY JULY 20, 2025

Come enjoy an afternoon of outdoor 3D archery at beautiful Rib Mountain Bowmen on Wausau'Ts northside.  The course will have twenty-eight 3D targets set at various distances consistent with western bow hunting.

Your $20 entry fee ($25 day of registration) helps support the non-profit club for future improvements and gives you a chance at our several at-random prizes that will be given away from our sponsors!

Long Bomb
$5 for 3 shots at our "Long Bomb" target!  Hit the scorable target and get a ticket in for our TBD great prize!

-Food & Drink will be available.

-The Chase Outdoors Trailer will be present with some great "cash and carry" specials.

Registration

• Can people register the day of the event or do they have to register prior to the day of the shoot• Yes, but day of registration is $25 and is stated on the website registration information
• If they have to pre-register, when does pre-registration close• Pre-registration closes Wednesday July 16th
• Are participants given a specific start time or should they be there and ready to go by 2pm• Participants do not have a specific flight time.  We would prefer they show up no later than 4pm.

• Will there be a refund policy if someone who registered that can’t attend•  No.

 

General

• Can you give me a short description of the shoot, how it works, how long it will take, etc.•  The shoot is a standard 28-target 3D course throughout the RMB property.  Shooters will be sent to through the course three at a time and should anticipate roughly 1.5 hours through the course.  There will be other shooting opportunities outside of the standard course if desired.  Targets will be in a variety of scenarios distanced as far as 75 yards.
• Are there different classes/divisions• 1st and 2nd Trophies will be presented to Youth (13 & Under) Cadet (14-17) and Adult
• Are there any rules we can add•  Just a general disclaimer about safety and good communication.  Prizes will be given at random to promote all skill levels.
  • Are rangefinders and binoculars allowed•  Yes
  • Anything not allowed• Crossbows, guns, flamethrowers
• Can you explain the "Long Bomb Station"• 
  • I assume there is a fee and the proceeds go to RMB, correct•  $5 for three shots at the target.  The target will be a clay mounted onto the moose on the practice range.  Hitting the clay gets an entry in for prizes from us. 
• Are family and friends welcome• Is there anything for non-participants to do•  Family and friends are welcome.  All activities will be archery based.
• Will there be a rain date or does the event run rain or shine•  Rain or shine.

• What type of food and drinks will be available• For Purchase: Soda, Beer, Chips, Hot Dogs, Cookies

Awards & Prizes

• Are trophies for top finishers or are there other categories• See above.
• When will awards and prizes be announced• 6:30pm
• What types of random draw prizes are there•  TBD but a combination of Chase Outdoors Gift Cards and hunting gear.
• Do you have to be a participant of the shoot to be eligible to win a prize• Yes.
• Do you need to be present to win a prize•  No.  In store pickup will be available.
